      Camp Minnow Lake programs are designed to:  

• Help at risk families of all types to heal and adjust comfortably into society.

• Help veterans returning from service transition from military life back into the family unit.

• Nurture our children and ourselves.

• Deepen awareness of self.

• Strengthen our sense of family.

• Encourage teamwork and appreciation of others.

• Develop self-esteem and personal stability.

• Foster environmental appreciation.

• Develop and support family as a community.

• Offer exposure to new educational/recreational pursuits.

• Promote understanding and acceptance of diversity.

• Teach responsibility, respect, justice, and fairness.

• Acknowledge participation and individual contributions.

• Demonstrate the importance of trying.
